Why ban fossil ads?

A ban on fossil advertising and sponsoring is a logical step to phase out fossil fuels, just like ads for tobacco are banned in many countries.

A ban on fossil ads will reduce emissions, change social norms and weaken lobby-efforts by the fossil fuel sectors, like fossil fuel industry, aviation and car industry.
