- A fossil ad ban becomes part of future tenders and contracts for ads in public space.

Passed motion
The motion was iniated by the Green party (GroenLinks), the Animal party (PvdD) and the DENK party and gained support from the Labour party (PvdA), the Socialist party (SP), the ChristenUnie party and the majority of D66. It requests the board to:
- In tenders, contract extensions and new contracts for advertising in public spaces, to exclude fossil advertising by stipulating and including as a condition in contracts that no advertising from the fossil industry and for fossil products and services will be shown. This includes advertising media placed on municipal land, for which the municipality itself has concluded a concession, namely: advertising A0 displays, illuminated sign advertising, advertising masts, advertising in bus shelters and free-standing advertising display cases.
- Thereby defining fossil advertising as advertising by or for the fossil industry (companies and interest groups in the coal, oil and gas sector), the aviation sector and fossil products and services (fossil fuels, air holidays including package holidays of which an airline ticket is part, airline tickets, grey electricity contracts, gas contracts, cruise travel and cars, motorbikes, mopeds and scooters with a fossil or hybrid fuel engine).
- Inform the council in relevant developments on progress, results achieved and any financial implications.
