Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD)

Since COP26, a coalition of over 50 organisations across Europe, Australia, Africa and North America are continuing their work to minimise climate mis/disinformation and prevent its attempts to jeopardise effective implementation of climate policies at the (inter)national level. CAAD have written an open letter to the COP Presidency & UNFCCC, and the CEOs of Facebook, Instagram, Google, Twitter, TIkTok, Pinterest and Reddit. They have also written eports revealing the rampant climate disinformation present at COP26 and COP27, uncovering how much can be tied back to the fossil fuels sector.
