"Let's democratize communication" is the founding text of Communication and Democracy (CODE), adopted on May 9, 2022.
The Communication and Democracy association brings together qualified personalities - in particular communication and media professionals, academics and association leaders - united by the conviction that citizen analysis must contribute to the reflection and commitment of an active policy to democratize communication. They use 5 main political axes: the training of key players in the challenges of communication, the transparency of activities, the supervision of products, practices and media, the regulation of content, and the redistribution of the means of production.
CODE aims to be a space for high-level independent analysis of communication issues and their political, economic, environmental, public health, social and societal effects. The association also draws up concrete proposals to strengthen regulation and put the professional sector back at the service of the general interest.
