One day before parliament presented the 2023-2024 budget plans, Dutch youth presented their UNICEF Youth Program. Climate change is by far the most important issue for the young people who contributed to this year's program. A majority of young people want an end to meat advertising, air travel and fossil fuel industries. Dutch youth aged between 13 and 18 year wrote this year's program and handed over their program to members of the national government on 27th of September, 2023.
